INPursuit Privacy Statement

JJO Webpages has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for INPursuit. This privacy policy was last updated July 24, 2007. If this page is updated it will be noted via a posting on our message board.

Advertisers

At this time we rotate house ads which within our network and offer advertising through Google. Google has a Privacy Policy that is in place for their advertising program and other services; such policies govern how they handle advertising and use of this Web site constitutes an acceptance of their privacy policy as it pertains to their advertising program.

We may change advertising providers in the future; such changes will be noted in this privacy policy, and continued use of the site at that time will constitute acceptance of the privacy policy of the site providing our advertising as well.

Information Collection

INPursuit uses a tracker provided by OneStat. OneStat uses information provided by your Web browser to compile information that aids us in development of the site, such as screen resolution, browser use, operating system, etc.

All information is compiled in aggregate and used anonymously, with the exception of a "Last 20 Visitors" feature that gives limited information based on your IP, but which is not employed by our site for any current usage. The tracker (found on most pages in the left sidebar) can be clicked on to view the same data that we can see, allowing full transparency of the information at our disposal.

INPursuit is committed to serving the needs of our visitors, but does not feel the need to know every detail about them. That's why we don't feel a need to collect information other than the above. INPursuit does not sell this information to other sites or companies either, so you can be sure that your visit is safe and secure.

Public Forums

Due to our recent relaunching of the Web site, we currently have no public forums posted on our site. However, as we plan on reintroducing the feature in the future, we leave intact the following language from our previous updates to the privacy policy, as this will remain intact when the forums relaunch:

This site makes chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available to its users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. In addition, the board software that INPursuit uses, YaBB, does display certain information about those who recently visited the site and posted for banning purposes. This information is used only when a ban is necessary due to a violation of our board's Terms of Services, but is displayed on public posts. Other information displayed on posts is only shown if a person fills out the profile on the message board, and can display information such as location, gender and age. Users should note that they do not have to provide this information to use the boards, and this information is not collected by INPursuit.
